Let's talk numbers

Transparent pricing

TWP charges an hourly rate, per staff member. Travel, parking, and other potential fees are listed below. If you don't see it on this page, we don't charge it. Period.


TWP requires a 5-hour minimum per staff member on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and a 4-hour minimum per staff member Monday-Thursday.

*prices listed for Baltimore and greater Maryland area. For DC Metropolitan area (extending from south Laurel to Woodbridge, VA, and from Dulles to Upper Marlboro), prices are $5 higher, to account for greater cost of living for our staff in the area

Event Staff

Waiter

Waiters are the backbone of any event, responsible for setup, cleanup, and everything in between. Whether you're having a buffet and need dirty plates cleared, or passing a hundred different appetizers, these are the people that get it done.

Bartender

$40*

Your Libations Liason! Our bartenders set up and clean up your bars, prepare your delicious cocktails, and ensure that only those who should have alcohol get it. They bring their own hand tools, as well!

Kitchen hand

the chef's assistant is a must for larger events. Kitchen hands aid the chef by taking on various duties that would divide the chef's attention too thin, and are invaluable for making sure rented china and glassware are safely cleaned and stored at the end of the night.

Chef

The Captain of the Kitchen. Events with large guest counts or complicated menus will want a dedicated kitchen leader who is trained in food preparation, maintenance, and service safety standards.

Captain

Events with three or more waiters will need someone to supervise. The Captain takes an active role in directing and managing our staff, working with you directly to see your vision come to life.


Other services and charges

Rental coordination

12% of rental invoice

We don't offer any equipment of our own. However, we are familiar with many of the best rental agencies in the area. We're happy to take on the responsibility of coordinating rental orders for small events, using our experience and expertise to ensure you have everything you'll need.

food/equipment pickup

If one of our staff needs to pick up supplies on the way to your party, their hourly rate will begin when they arrive at the first destination.

Travel

If your event is more than a 45-minute drive  from our office in Baltimore (or from downtown DC, in the case of certain events), we charge one-way travel time at $40/hour, per staff. This gets passed directly to the staff members; TWP does not take a cut.

Parking

Varies

If the only parking within a reasonable distance of your event is paid parking, TWP may collect parking receipts from its staff and charge you 75% of the total paid. TWP covers the other 25%, and the total cost of parking is reimbursed to our staff.


Gratuities

Varies

TWP does not require a gratuity. However, if you feel we've earned it, we recommend tipping each staff member directly, at the rate of at least one hour. Gratuity may be added to the final invoice at your request, in which case TWP will distribute the total gratuity amount evenly among all staff present at your event.


Holidays

Varies

For Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Day, and New Year's Eve & Day, we charge double. 

For Juneteenth, and for pride events in the month of June, we offer a 20% discount. Staff for these events are paid their normal hourly wage.

For all other bank holidays, we charge time-and-a-half.
